Chair's Message
I consider it an honour to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors. For more than 30 years New Dawn has been serving some of the needs of the community of Cape Breton. While there is still much to be done, great progress has been made.
Over the past several years New Dawn has focused on changing the structure of the organization into business divisions that group the numerous activities that comprise New Dawn. Best business practices are being introduced throughout the organization and strategic plans are being implemented in the Divisions. This transformation is an ongoing activity and has been successful so far because of the support of the past and current Board members, senior staff and all employees at New Dawn.
I look forward with great optimism as we continue to complete the vision and mission of New Dawn. Over the next few years we expect to have more opportunities and more resources to help us identify and satisfy the needs of the community. We will continue to work with our current partners and we will seek new partnerships so that together we can achieve our shared objectives.
