Eleanor’s Court: A life-saving housing project

Eleanor’s Court will open its doors to residents in the next couple of weeks.

The 25-unit deeply affordable harm reduction housing will become home for people who have experienced homelessness. For some, it is their first home – a place of their own that is safe, secure, dignified, and built with love.

“This was a parking lot two years ago and now people’s lives will be saved,” said New Dawn’s President and CEO, Erika Shea.

“People will live who would otherwise die; people will get consistent supports in a place where they are loved – in many cases, for the first time in their life.”
