August update on Pallet Village with CBC Radio host Steve Sutherland

AUDIO: This is a big week for the CBRM Pallet Village. Erika Shea shared the latest on the project ahead of the arrival of the Pallet shelters.

The long-awaited CBRM Pallet Village is well underway, with the 35 temporary shelters being assembled this week. The site at Pine Tree Park has been prepped over the past few weeks and the fomer welding college is being renovated to serve as the communal building where residents can gather and access services.

Erika Shea spoke with CBC Radio’s Information Morning Cape Breton host Steve Sutherland about the latest work on the site and what is planned for the coming weeks.
