At Pine Tree Park Care Home, our compassionate staff deliver 24/7 Level One Supportive Care, nutritious meals, and engaging recreational and social programs in a welcoming setting — reflected in consistently high occupancy. Our Homecare services support safe, comfortable aging at home, offering a range of healthcare services including foot care, wound care, in-home companionship, and respite for caregivers.
Recently, New Dawn Homecare and Pine Tree Park Care Home underwent an on-site survey by Accreditation Canada, an independent, not-for-profit organization that sets national standards for safety and quality in healthcare and shares best practices worldwide. During a three-day review of our services, policies, and procedures, Accreditation Canada found that we have exceeded the program’s requirements, going beyond expected standards, and we were accredited with Exemplary Standing.
As Cape Breton Island’s largest non-profit, private homecare provider, New Dawn voluntarily undertakes the accreditation process every four years. This reflects our ongoing commitment to better care, safer clients, and stronger teamwork.
